Our Levels of Care
Hospice patients require differing intensities of care during the course of their disease. The hospice benefit affords patients four levels of care to meet their clinical needs:
Routine Care
Delivered wherever the patient calls home
General Inpatient Care
In an inpatient unit, skilled nursing facility or hospital
Respite Care
In an inpatient facility for up to five days
Continuous Care
Delivered to the patient’s home for up to 24 hours
